New compact wallet design

dscf1157

This new compact card wallet stays slim and comfortable in the pocket. Designed to carry 6-8 cards and a few folded notes – just big enough for the essentials. It’s hand cut from sheep nappa leather, with a bright striped lining and bound edge construction. The over all dimensions are 102mm x 139mm when opened out.

Available to buy here.

You can also see my work at Bristol Harbourside Market, every Saturday and Sunday up to Christmas 2016, between 11:00 – 16:00.

Prototype testing – cycling map holder

IMG_1636IMG_1637

Here’s a custom cycle map holder I just developed and prototyped. I wanted something to fit the free Sustrans paper route maps and attach securely to my handlebars. It’s constructed with a single piece of flexible acetate, leather edge binds, velcro straps and a pop fastener to close. It should be shower proof, but the weather this week didn’t allow me to test it. What a shame…

A few more tweaks and I plan make them available in my Etsy shop.

Projectionist wallet in black, grey and yellow

Recently made to order as a gift for a film buff…

The wallet is hand cut from soft calfskin leather throughout. The wallet is two tone: black outer/grey inner with contrast yellow stitch. The lining is printed with film reels (familiar to anyone who has been in a cinema projection room) and was supplied by the customer for this special order. The hand punched initials give an extra personalised element.

I handcut, machine stitch and hand finish every item at my workshop in Bristol, UK. I welcome commissions for new and personalised items. Contact me to discuss your requirements here.
