This belt purse was specially commissioned to carry phone, keys and money. After developing the design with pencil and paper it was hand cut from supple, durable black cow hide leather. The purse was carefully machine stitched, edges hand dyed and sealed, and finished with matching black hardware.
I was commissioned by Alec Stevens in early 2017 to design and make a leather tool roll for his chisel set. Alec was flexible in terms of colour, and I combined a smooth light tan cow hide for the main parts with a softer russet tan cow hide for the foldover sections. The brass details on the chisel handles also tie in with the brass hardware for a cohesive finish.

This trifold leather wallet commissioned by a customer in late 2017. I sketched the initial layout by hand and we discussed the design until we had the perfect layout. The outer was hand cut from fine grained sheep nappa leather, and the inner panels from black cow hide leather. The contrast red stitch matches the plain bright red lining and the D-ring cord attachment fixes to a belt or belt loop.
These compact ID holders are hand cut and machine stitched at my workshop in Bristol, UK.
Designed to fit Oystercards, bus passes or ID cards, this slim wallet sits flat in the front pocket keeping your essential cards to hand.
The sheep nappa leathers are carefully selected to complement the printed cotton and woven check linings.
This purse is based on a design I made a few years ago, reworked in new colours with hand finished contrast red edges. 12 card slots to carry 24+ cards, two large slip pockets for notes, external zip pocket for coins and a pop fastener to close.
Another custom wallet recently ordered as a gift, ready to wrap up and post out. Contact me to discuss a personalised item or wallet remake here.
This new compact card wallet stays slim and comfortable in the pocket. Designed to carry 6-8 cards and a few folded notes – just big enough for the essentials. It’s hand cut from sheep nappa leather, with a bright striped lining and bound edge construction. The over all dimensions are 102mm x 139mm when opened out.
You can also see my work at Bristol Harbourside Market, every Saturday and Sunday up to Christmas 2016, between 11:00 – 16:00.
The wallets above are brand new pieces developed from this sample work.
They’re hand cut from a combination of sheep nappa and cow hide leathers. Expertly machine stitched, and fully lined with cotton linings, they can be made to order in your choice of colours/feature. Contact me to discuss a commission here.

Here’s a custom cycle map holder I just developed and prototyped. I wanted something to fit the free Sustrans paper route maps and attach securely to my handlebars. It’s constructed with a single piece of flexible acetate, leather edge binds, velcro straps and a pop fastener to close. It should be shower proof, but the weather this week didn’t allow me to test it. What a shame…
A few more tweaks and I plan make them available in my Etsy shop.
